Program & Activities

DECEMBER 22, 2025

WELCOME!

With "băcărăi" (local traditional alcoholic drink, often plum brandy) and house drinks.

Dinner (6:00 PM): After a long journey, you will enjoy good cheer, tasting traditional Bucovina dishes, along with house drinks.

DECEMBER 23

Breakfast (8:30 AM - 10:30 AM): With traditional meat, dairy, egg products, and "băcărăi".

The custom of pig slaughtering (10:00 AM): Starting at 10:00 AM, in front of the Casa Poveste sheepfold, we invite you to actively participate in the ancient custom of pig slaughtering.

12:00 PM - 5:00 PM: Horse-drawn sleigh ride.

For those feeling cold, we offer Câmpulung borscht, along with mulled plum brandy and mulled wine. Afterwards, we invite you to relax at Casa Poveste Spa.

Traditional Dinner (6:00 PM): We invite you to the "pig's commemoration feast".

DECEMBER 24

Breakfast (8:30 AM - 10:30 AM): With traditional meat, dairy, egg products, and "băcărăi".

Day's program:

11:00 AM: You will actively participate in the ancestral custom of egg decorating. Free time program:

Relaxation at Casa Poveste Spa.
Activities: Skiing and sledding at Rarău slope, visits to monasteries, or the "Bucovina Traditions Show" in the city center. Transportation will be individual, with your own cars.
Christmas Dinner (6:00 PM): We will welcome carolers, Santa will bring gifts under the Christmas tree, while you will taste the house dishes and drinks.

DECEMBER 25, 2025

Breakfast (8:00 AM - 10:00 AM): You will delight in traditional Bucovina meat, dairy, egg products, and "băcărăi", cooked according to traditional recipes, found only at Casa Poveste.

DAY'S PROGRAM

Relaxation at Casa Poveste Spa.
Free time program: Drive with your own car to Cacica Salt Mine, Moara Dracului Gorges, visits to monasteries.
Festive Dinner (5:00 PM) with DJ and vocal soloist:

Buffet with cold and hot appetizers, followed by main courses prepared according to Bucovina recipes, sweets, and drinks.

DECEMBER 26, 2025

Breakfast at Casa Poveste (9:00 AM - 12:00 PM): hearty enough to keep you full until you get home!
